The most important elements for producing antioxidants are selenium and copper. For example, super-oxide dismutase (SOD) is the most important antioxidant in the body that is produced by consumption of selenium.


Antioxidants are Best Consumed Within a Complete Balanced Meal

Antioxidants are best eaten as part of complete balanced meals and also supplemented as part such a meal. Choose a well balanced multi-vitamin/mineral and quality antioxidant type supplements and herb specific for their antioxidant benefits.
